Simple pricing. One flat day rate.
Just one flat rate, agreed before work starts. Here's exactly how it works.
- Direct access to me, the person actually writing the code.
- Roughly eight hours of focused work, plus the communication to keep you updated.
- Code delivered through git, with a normal commit history, not a zip file at the end.
- Doesn't include third-party license/hosting costs or content population, unless scoped in upfront.
How booking works
For short, well-defined projects I invoice on completion. For ongoing engagements, I invoice weekly, so you're never carrying a large open balance and can stop or pause between sprints without an awkward conversation.

Umbraco hosting
Managed Umbraco hosting sized to your site: backups, framework and security patching, uptime monitoring, SSL, and someone to call when something breaks. Because "sized to your site" varies enormously between a brochure site and a commerce platform, this is quoted per site rather than sold as a fixed package. See full hosting details →
Support contracts
A retainer-style arrangement for teams that already have a live Umbraco site: bug fixes, small enhancements, editor support and priority response when something's on fire. Scoped and quoted per engagement based on how much attention your site realistically needs.
Agency subcontracting
If you're an agency bringing me in as overflow capacity, the same $700/day rate applies whether I'm working under your brand or my own. Invoicing and process fit around however your studio normally works with contractors.

Is $700/day negotiable for longer engagements?
Get in touch and let's talk. For multi-month, high-commitment engagements there's room to discuss how billing works, but the starting point is always the same flat rate, not an inflated number to negotiate down from.
Do you work fixed-price instead of day rate?
Day rate is the default because it's honest about how software work actually goes. For a genuinely well-defined, small piece of work, a fixed quote (calculated from an estimated number of days) is possible. Ask when you get in touch.
What does a day actually cover?
